Wes Walker, Owner and President of FLR.

  • Wes Walker is the Founder and President of First Light Restoration, a customer-driven and locally owned/operated company serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana. A Marine Infantry veteran and former Amazon Operations Leader, Wes developed his philosophy of discipline, speed, and excellence through experiences that demanded precision, resilience, and performance under pressure.

    In October 2024, Wes launched First Light Restoration with a clear mission: deliver unmatched customer experiences through rapid response, teamwork, and a “whatever it takes” mindset.

Trevor Bunker, Operations Manager at FLR.

  • Trevor has been with First Light Restoration since its founding, playing a vital role in guiding projects from start to finish. He manages day-to-day operations, leads recruitment efforts, oversees OSHA safety initiatives, and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures. Known for his organization and foresight, Trevor is always the man with a plan.

  • DJ is FLR’s go-to guy and the powerhouse behind every reconstruction project! He oversees each job with precision, making the damage disappear and restoring spaces so well, you’d never know an accident ever happened. He loops in customers on the process and sees every job through to completion.

Sarah Byman, Office Manager at FLR.

  • Sarah is the first point of contact at the office. She coordinates meetings and job assignments and tackles administrative tasks for the team. She handles all social media for FLR and plans the nitty gritty of all the events. She brings a positive attitude every morning and typically has candy to share!

With a solid background in customer service and deep roots in the community, Darrin takes a personal, relationship-driven approach, ensuring every client receives fast, reliable support and the highest level of care when it matters most.

  • Nick helps lead our team of technicians on the jobsite. He is swift in responding to emergencies and making necessary repairs. He is known for having one speed.. “GO”! As an IICRC-certified water damage restoration professional, Nick brings expertise, reliability, and dedication to every project at FLR.

  • At FLR, Yuddel jumps in to handle emergency situations like fire, water, and mold damage. Once he gets a task, he makes sure it’s done right and thoroughly. His dedication and can-do attitude make him a reliable part of the team when customers need help.

  • Ryan is our jack of all trades here at FLR. He’s always ready to jump in wherever he’s needed, whether it’s assisting the mitigation crew or helping with reconstruction projects. With many years of construction experience under his belt, Ryan brings valuable skills and reliability to every project he takes on.

  • Michael oversees the crew and manages mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring every job meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer care. A natural leader, he takes great pride in his work and it shows in the results his team delivers.
